I have no doubt there is a God but I believe that we have been misled by the Bible, archaeologist, and historians regarding ancient issues such as flying dragons, flying chariots, the pyramids, and other explainable events. However it is the enthusiasm of the author and well translated by the reader which makes things interesting and not to mention that the authors thesis may be true to some extent as many of the Herculean feats betrays a higher intelligence in play. Von Daniken was a visionary in his time but too many problems with him including convictions for fraud and some prison time. Before I process with my review I must warn readers that I believe that it is probable that Earth was visited by Extraterrestrials who interacted and influenced humanity in the ancient past! Great thinkers question our history and propose theories. However after going through the book and then watching a 1977 documentary The Case of Ancient Astronauts? This book was written many years ago, yet is still timely, and I'm only sorry that I took so long to discover it. This theory is ok but I think it stretches the facts to far and leaves too many questions for me, but each to his or her own. Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend?
