Both Ali and Lijo Mol Jose need to amp up their acting if they need to stay, and their abysmal performance was the biggest issue I had here. Now, this will only work if you have watched the said film. But, much to Vishnu's disappointment, he is informed that the casting is done already. A quiet town is jumpstarted by the arrival of an enigmatic family; a statuesque mother named Louisa and her gorgeous teenage sons. However, his chances are yet again eclipsed by a certain situation that force him out of the movie. Well, he is a man, whom we have seen thousand times — both on and off the big screen.

Well, he is not having a very conducive environment around him — something which pulls him aback from reaching his goal. Well, we all know that she is a decent actor, for whom acting comes naturally. In fact, movie actually shows you how much the makers have struggled while materializing their project. You root for him as he goes hopping from set to another and eventually holds on to a twinkle of possibility, also finding love on the way. . George instructs Vishnu to go on the sets of the movie Honey Bee 2, which has not finalized the casting yet.
Innocent though, her character is the one, which gives confidence to Vishnu. Depending on another film is high risk, but director Shyju Anthikkad manages to wrap it off with some good bits. Lijo Mol once again did a good job in bringing life to her character. Yes, even with the imperfections of a rather shabby dubbing and inactive facial expressions, Askar Ali displayed all the characteristics of an amateur actor, whose actions spoke better than words. He is from a village, he is innocent, and he belongs to a middle class family, wherein his mother and sister support his wishes. Vishnu Askar Ali has always wanted to enter the world of film.
A textbook story of wannabe actors, Honey Bee 2. In fact, she is the one, who instills a fresh lease of energy in Vishnu, thereby helping him materializing his dreams. Debutante Askar Ali plays an innocent, wannabe actor who finds himself on the sets of Honey Bee 2 2017 which released earlier this year. Not ready to give up on his dreams, Vishnu decides to stay on the set and help the crew as and when needed. The idea of making a film on the sets of another film sounds ridiculous but Honey Bee 2.
In fact, we have seen a handful of attempts in the recent past itself. Coming to the performance of the rest putting Askar aside, as we have mentioned it earlier , we have Lijo Mol making a strong presence felt throughout the movie. That is why the comic moments intended to evoke laugher indeed laughs you, even though the word comedy has nothing to do with it. However, it is interesting to see the journey of our hero in line with the all the prototypes, which the director has conferred him with. In the end, his passion for acting and determination win over his ill luck and he is finally a cast as a lead actor in a movie. Vishnu, a young man who aspires to become a movie star, faces many difficulties as ill luck follows him everywhere.
A whole lot of unknown artists appear in the movie and have made their part perfect. As an audience, you feel for him as despite being without talent, the character is determined and unlucky. With the arrival of the mysterious family just weeks before school is to let out, life suddenly becomes appealing. This opens a window of opportunity for him to act. Movies with the backdrop of films are not new to Malayalee audiences.
